Hobey-ho!Yesterday's parade was a breeze!!
Well, lets start from the beginning yea?
I woke up late because I spelt late the previous night...
Haha, pretty rhetorical isn't it?
Then, I chiong my bath, coated my boots with Kiwi Liquid, yes, I know, it ain't good...
Changed, and rushed out of the house towards the meeting up point...
Met my friends, many for the last time...
Wait for dunno who, got on the bus, and off we were to the holding area at the F1 pit!!
Although it was the day the spotlight is on the UGs, it was also a sad day...
I mean, it may be the last time we would see each other again...
Even if we do see each other again, we may not be working together as a contingent...
Well, we went for component training, which fried all of us..
Freaking hot day you know?
But every time the day was hot, the night would not be that warm...
After CT, back to holding area to polish boots, change into full-uniform, eat, and rest...
Also, we swapped numbers, took loads of pictures and wrote reflections...
Then, the moment of truth...
Marching our way to the floating platform, head held high, anticipation running high in ourselves...
Just a few minutes before the march-in, everyone was wishing well to each other...
Pretty much havoc in an organised way...
The paraphrase 'Organised chaos' comes into mind...
Well, the parade went pass like a breeze, the march-out was perfect...
The turning and the dressing was ab-so-lu-te-ly perfect!!
Well, nearly, around 98%?
And the sir even said we were outstanding!!
Time to leave was an emotionally hard time...
Saying goodbye to fellow comrades who have been with you through all hardships and joys, through all the trainings and all the times you threw up...
Those who were there during the NCDCC Day Parade this year should know how it felt...
After that I went for supper with my girl...
