Hobey-ho!!Today, I'm not in a cheery good mood. So, don't mess with me today.
Well, nothing much happened during VIBE yesterday. Auntie Jill saved me a waffle - thank you!
Apart from that and a ride home, nothing much though. Life's boring without soccer. I just realised.
Sometimes I wish I could go fishing, like Elaine, or play soccer with no care of the world. Even better; going rock climbing maybe. But its boring without any activities here. Bleh.
I promised Claudia to post something up here.
Right, here goes. Oh, its about money, by the way...
Money; the root of all evil.
It can buy - a bed, but not sleep.
- books, but not knowledge.
- a clock, but not time.
- a position, but not respect.
- food, but not appetite.
- a house, but not a home.
- sex, but not love.
- amusement, but not happiness.
I'm gonna add one more, cause it seems very true at this time and age.
- favours, but not friends.
Ok, maybe another.
- items, but never will it buy you satisfaction.
The last one, maybe a little bit confusing. Let me explain.
Nowadays, people are buying stuff off the shelves plentifully. But every now and then, the temptation to seek a replacement for that item, e.g. computer, is high. New models come up everytime. Its nearly impossible to be satisfied with what you have isn't it?
Nope.
Its easy to be satisfied. Just buy what you need. And appreciate the fact that you can afford that item, most likely a luxury, and enjoy it.
Here's a challenge to all you readers, try and appreciate the most taken for granted item at home. It can be a place, an item or a person.
I promise you, you'll see life in a totally different aspect then.
God bless.

Hobey-ho!Firstly, best wishes and a very happy birthday to my brother and confidante, Mark Chia!
Happy 13th birthday and may God bless you for the rest of your days ever more!
Secondly, I've been reinstated the best goalie of the week!!
Haha, surprising, no? Cause I usually play the defender position, but today, I decided to try my luck with the job of keeping the ball out of the goalpost!!
Oh!! Before I forget, happy birthday to my junior Kim! It was nice smashing a cake into your face!!
Muahahaha!! So, back to my topic of me and the soccer thing...
I think I can have the confidence to be a goalie often now. But I don't think I'll play in that position often... I have to train my defending too!!
Anyways I've gotta go and check my lesson plan...

Hobey-ho!!I apologise for not posting quite a while...
Clearly I wasn't able to use the computer due to certain reasons...
So, here's a quick summary about what happened while I was gone...
Nothing happened on friday.
Saturday, nothing much...
Sunday, went to GLCC to help out at the carwash!! Quite amazing isn't it? The fact that I helped raise at least 250 buckaroos??
After that, went home, bla bla bla...
Hmmm...Monday...
A day of excitement, joy, fun, disappointment and fatigue...
Met Claudia at Tampines MRT at 1215 hrs...
I was 15 mins late!!
SORRY CLAUDIA!!!
Then we went to BK for lunch :)
Talked, ate, did some tricks and had a little bit of sharing...
After all that, we went to ESSS to get her school books...
A pretty impressive school, I'd say...
They have a skull in their lawn, how cool is that?!
Anyway, I got my note book after that and now, I need to think of a lesson plan...
Wish me luck. Pray for me.

Hobey-ho!!I just came back from watching 2012 with Samantha and Gareth...
A very nice show, if you tell me...
It depicts several different attitudes people portray in crisis...
For example, those who care for themselves only. Those who are willing to go out there and help. Those who stay behind till the very end.
In short, the show pretty much tells us that the best, and sometimes the worst can and will come out of people in crisis...
So, the quote 'The best way t know a person is through hardship' is true!!
Think about it people. Think about it...

Hobey-ho!Haha, I know I haven't been posting lately...
No, I'm not busy, I'm not dead...
I'm just L.A.Z.Y. yes, lazy to post...
Partly cause no one really reads this post, I have no inspiration to post about...
So, I'm pretty much a dead fish. My holidays are totally boring so far, apart from the fantastic trip to Kunming, I've literally been rotting at home!!
Trust me guys, I've changed, ever since the Kunming trip. I've changed alot. Maybe its because I finally realise how much we have in Singapore to appreciate, and that most of us, and I mean most of us, take things for granted. For example, the toilets. You'd probably think; "What are you talking about? A toilet is a toilet, nothing more!!" well ladies and gentlemen, you're totally wrong.
There, the toilet is something like a concrete drain, thats all. No flushing, no water running, just a drain, with stagnant, smelly and solidifying human waste. Not that I mind the smell, but seriously, the toilets here are a hundred times better. But we still it for granted.
Ok, something simpler, just the peace and quiet of the village, compared to Singapore's crazy, noisy rat race. Over there, you could actually find a quiet spot under the open sky, with beautiful stars above your head, talking to some people about all your problems or just about what happened for the day. You can't do that in Singapore, ever. And now, I'm freaking pissed at how I see everyone around me, taking things for granted, and forsaking the privilege of living in a modern city.
Take it from me people, if you would go to the village, you won't nearly be able to survive there. No baths, no TV, no internet, and no nice toilets. Just living spartan. And that, my friends, is the experience that changed all of us who went to Kunming.
We left as immature teenagers.
We lived the hard life.
We learned the lesson of appreciation.
We came back mature adults.

Hobey-ho!!I'm finally back from China!!
Haha, you guys missed me?
I think you do, just admit...
LOL, I'm so full of crap...
Anyway, I'm not gonnapost about the trip cause it'll take freaking long, and I don't have the patience...
Not yet, anyway...
Ok, down to business, I've gotten some gifts for my friends, only some by the way...
Here are the names;
Claudia
Glenda
Mark
Celine
Kimberly
Elaine
And some others...
I've got some postcards, so, if you want it, just ask from me yeah?
Currently too many things going on, so, very confusing...
Anyway, for those whom I'm giving chocolates, the faster you collect, the better, so that I don't accidentally eat them...
Haha, I'm a chocolate addict, didn't you know?
Since I've got photos, I'm gonna upload them onto my Facebook album yea?
See you guys soon!!
