Hey! Today was plain awesome! I had parade in the morning, and class outing at Swensen's!! Let's start with the first few parts.Morning: PARADE!! Xian Jun stepped on my boots for the seventh time :( but thank goodness that it was minor and could be wiped away with my gloves. The parade was smooth, everything was perfect. Although the ending was a little messed, the flag party(Staff Sargent Akmal Hamdi, Corporals Venus Yap and Shireen, and Sargent Daniel Watanaprasit) managed to improvise and do the march out well. The march in was great, just that everyone was looking at us and some made stupid comments to try and make us laugh. Xian Jun did. Damn! Everything else was close to perfect. We got treated breakfast deluxe from MacDonalds by Mrs Tang. Can you believe that it was nerve wrecking, I was afraid and I wanted to laugh at a point in time?
Post-parade: Xian Jun spilled his Milo on the table and floor. Some of it splashed on Corporal Cantona Ong's uniform. Oh, Cantona was out Parade Commander. And he did awesome :D Anyway, I asked Xian Jun to clean up the mess cause he caused it. You know what he called me? A bastard. Why? For asking him to clean up his own mess. Eventually, we returned to class and I got my class T-shirt. OMG!! Its the same colour as my girlfriend's class T-shirt! Awesome! Haha, I was wearing the pink shirt and my half uniform. Odd much!! At this point of time, I was feeling a little disorientated.
Class Gathering: We were supposed to go to Orchard by train. But decided to take the bus instead. There were 15 people; Jay, Shane, Christopher, Ian, Kashken, Ezekiel, Jun Han, Glen, Branwen, Melissa, Elina, Jen, Yong Jian, Elaine Tan and me. Most of us were wearing our class T-shirt. Original plan was, to eat at Seoul Garden at Takashimaya. In the end, we ate at Swensen's near Orchard Ion. The guys(excluding me) went all out for the Ice-cream Buffet and the ladies went for the main courses. Branwen had the Ice-cream Buffet too. I ordered Arabiatta Penne, Melissa ordered Curry Baked Rice, Elina ordered Chicken Baked Rice and Elaine Tan ordered Fish and Chips with Apricot and Mayo Sauce. Shane made the ice-cream look so appetizing!! But when the 'real food' came, Christoper was like "Walao! I shoulda ordered the real food!!!" Damn funny. I nearly fell for Shane's trick. It happened to be a piece of plastic coated in ice-cream. I nearly ate it. Glen and Branwen are such a sweet and lovely little couple :D Last long eh? By the end of all this, I felt like the 15 of us bonded a little bit more. Hurrah guys :D
